Westbourne excited by volunteers attending first round of the season

Last weekend at Silverstone for the Michelin Clio Series, Westbourne Motorsport had seven new volunteer mechanics attend the meeting, to learn the skills and needs of being a Motorsport mechanic.

Each of the volunteers showed great interest and willingness to learn from our senior mechanics as they worked on all six of our Michelin Clios plus a spare which the volunteers were able to strip the car down and learn how everything works and then how to put it all back together again.

Everyone showed some great potential for the rest of the season as they will be all attending selected events across all meetings we run in: Michelin Clio Series, UK Clio Cup and HRDC.

Westbourne have six volunteers attending this weekend’s HRDC meeting at the ‘Home of British Motorsport’ once again where the Worthing-based outfit will be running seven cars with a big variety for the volunteers to get to learn historic cars as well as the modern technology.

Finally, Westbourne would like to say thank you to those volunteers who attended and are excited to be working with them more as the season goes on and also are looking forward to working with those who have not yet attended.
